November calls man to reflect on the blessings of the year. As I am quickly wrapping up this blog and our life that was lived in 2011, I am thankful for the moments that Ron and I have been afforded to live with our precious family and extended family. The pictures that follow are a months view of 12 that were lived not perfectly, but lived in love. Thank you for sharing these moments with us.
Emily and Joshua, you are two precious joys and gifts from God. Our lives would have been less rich and far less fun without you. We are so blessed to call you daughter and son.
Emily started dance lessons. One class Joshua did join her just so she would stay in there!
Yea! Another package from Nana! Emily is saying, "But not another picture please."
Now that is better...Daddy was taking this one.
Happy 76th Birthday to Pops!
This outfit/costume was compliments of Uncle TJ. Uh um.
Breakfast the next day...much better. ;)
Gotta love those cute towel pictures. We call this being a shepherd and shepherdess. Joshy kinda lost his look though.
"Now, which way to the pool?"
For Thanksgiving, we made these little goodie bags for friends and workers at church.
Joshua's hand print.
Emily's hand print.
We made the drive to Nana and Big Daddy's for Thanksgiving. Joshy was one happy tiger to find some crushed ice and this little hat upon his arrival.
This handsome man cleared a path through the woods from Nana and Big Daddy's to Grammy and Paw Paw's new house. You can read more about that here.
I neglected to take pictures of Grammy's new house, but did manage to take some of the accessories and kids exploring outside. We loved picking some of the beautiful flowers in her backyard and tromping through the woods and leaves. We always find time for hot chocolate on each of our visits.
Back at Nana and Big Daddy's, Daddy makes sure we have plenty of fire-side time at night. Joshua and Big Daddy make sure that the fireplace is lit inside the house each day.
BB, you look like you know how to enjoy some fireside time!
Smores galore!!! Great for dinner.
Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go.
The horse knows the way to carry the sleigh through the white and drifted snow.
Over the river and through the woods now grandfather's face I spy.
Hooray for the fun is the turkey done,
hooray for the pumpkin pie!
