Wipe Out!

Surfing was not on the true agenda so to speak, but fun in the sun and some high quality H2O remains in the top 10.
This summer we returned to Seal Swim School.  Joshua completed Parent/Tot class with Daddy and his teacher Ms. Harli. Emily performed her moves in private lessons with sweet Ms. Maria.

Each session, the instructors have the little seals wear their clothes on one of the last days.  The instructors educate the seals about rules of smart, safe swimmers. Emily loved the group time interaction!

Earlier in the summer we celebrated Memorial Day with the Seckman's.  Here are some sweet celebration pictures to remember our time together.

Averi, Catilin, Joshua, Grandmom, and Emily swinging in style.

That shirt says it all!

"Now would this color look good on my nails?" (I know Peyton must have been thinking that.)

Sand, seagulls, seashells, and surf have been on our calendar more times than previous years.  We loved each trip.
I learned that being a minimalist at the beach in everything but attire is the best fit for our family. We have one or two towels and a few sand pails. Some snacks and water in a bag and off we go.  The change of clothes and sunscreen are all applied and used in the car.  That way we each spend the two hours we are there playing instead of unpacking and packing.

Daddy showed Emily and Joshua how to find little shells and animals in the water. We took this last trip on Labor Day.  Due to a tropical storm north of FL we had some great waves.  They were even above Ron's head as you can see pictured above.  The kids and I loved having Daddy at home that day and enjoyed our time together at the beach.
