New Blog!!!

Hello Friends and Family,
I have a new project in my life that has been occupying my time.  I have started a blog called Raise the Risk.  You can find it at www.raisetherisk.wordpress.com.  It  is a blog that challenges Christians to raise the risk in their relationships with Christ, others, and challenges them to take risks in life that they know Christ has called them to.  I am very passionate about this project and hope that it will turn into a catch phrase and movement that will impact this world for Jesus.  I hope you will check it out!
My camera isn't working properly right now and I am desperately needing to find out why the flash isn't working so that I can get back to taking pictures like I want to. I now know why each successive child in families has less pictures than the first!  It is just nice to enjoy some moments without worrying about the camera and then others I am unable to photograph due to not enough appendages!  I am also going to start (next birthday go around) doing photo books instead of printing out pictures. I have tried this at www.artscow.com and am awaiting my first project (of Julie and Clay's wedding pictures).  I will let you know how it turns out.
Joshua has cut his first teeth, is sitting up unassisted, and has learned to fake cry  to get his mommy!  He also is babbling and saying what sounds like mama and dadadadada.  It shouldn't be long now!  He is growing up and we are growing more in love with him each day.  Emily is playing doctor now complete with her own stethoscope.  She was attending her patient today (her doll Sugar) and was introducing herself as a fictional book character, Dr. Maisy.  Dr. Maisy even shook Joshua's and my hand.  She is learning new words and relearning new methods of attention getting from Joshua (heaven help our patience)!  She is continuing to grow into the most beautiful little girl you have ever seen with the sweetest heart for others who are hurting or in need. That girl loves to laugh and to read her Bible as well.
Thank you for checking in with us!
Love ,
Brooke
