We'll Give Him the Glory

I was talking with some fellow moms tonight at a pool party and was blessed to hear about where they are in life and what struggles and triumphs they are having. They all have children in their teens and some still in elementary school. I honestly don't know how parents do it at each stage providing for the demands of life, not to mention college, and feeling torn between work, school, responsibilities, and home. I know it has a lot to do with God's grace and mercy at each step of the way. I can only say that as far as God has brought Ron and I he has provided for our every need (physically, spiritually, financially, and mentally).
I remember just 2 months after Ron and I were married we were scheduled to make our move to FL. Ron drove out of my parents yard in a rented U-Haul without a job to meet him. Before he had made the trip the school board called with a job for him to be an interpreter! God is good. Another example of Him meeting our needs has been in Him providing beds for our babies. We had a coworker of mom donate her crib to us (in perfect condition) and just recently a friend gave us her toddler bed. God knew we had a need for both and moved his resources around to give them to us before we even asked Him. Our God says in Matthew 6 to "seek first his kingdom and righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you as well." He has been faithful and to Him be the glory! We love you guys and miss all of you in AL.
P.S. The above pictures are from a trip we took out to lunch with friends this week and Emily one morning after telling her Daddy bye bye at the door with her glasses on. Also, Ron taught her to say Auburn and Tuscaloosa and I taught her to say Ron and Brooke Cooney and Emy Cooney. Too cute!
