Thank you for your patience and dedication to checking back with us! Since our wreck, we have been learning to slow down. That is to say, we have had to eliminate many extras from our schedule. However, as I just mentioned, we have had one doctor's appointment after another for the past two months. So, in order to get caught up on where we are in life I will try to post three times this week. (Keep your fingers crossed!)
My last post was Mother's Day, but Ron enjoyed a wonderful Father's Day. Please read my Raise the Risk Father's Day post here. We got our fabulous father a new pair of swim shorts and a Orange Crush t-shirt that he could sport to summer camps and Seal Swim. He is rocking them! Here he is after church opening his gifts with Emily and Joshua.
Next, our cousin Averi graduated from preschool a few months ago and we had a fantastic time celebrating her graduation Chuck E. Cheese style. Our kids love that place! It must be genetic...
The graduate with her proud father (Uncle TJ).
If you look carefully at Emily's stickers you will note that they are from Dr. John's office. We all leave with multiple stickers after every visit. When we drop Ron off at work afterwards, I am usually checking him out to see if there are any stickers left in conspicuous places. At least that is what I am telling him...
These girls are just beautiful and I know that this moment captured here will all to soon be exchanged for one in a cap and gown from high school, and then college. I pray that I will breath in deeply these fleeting years with my sweethearts!
Flashback to April. During the Easter holiday we attend a local Easter Egg Hunt with Nana, Big Daddy, and the Cooney gang. Joshua enjoyed his first Easter egg hunt. I will say that he sat down on the job a bit, but his basket wasn't too shabby in the end.
Peyton was looking for a cheerio that Joshua had dropped, but this picture does leave us asking, "Isn't Joshua Pey Pey's only boy cousin?"
I know this picture of Emily and Peyton looks like a choke hold, but she promised it was cousinly affection.
"Check out my tat, Mom."
That same day as the egg hunt we found our Little Buddy hunting some adventure in the dishwasher! Thankfully we have not had a repeat of this endeavor.
