Goodwill

Joshy!  We recently had an event at our church called Calvary Cares.  Here is Joshua doing his part!

Miss Emily is very much into play dough these days and this was one of the entertainments at the event.

Almost every Tuesday, Ron's mom comes over and watches the kids for a few hours around lunchtime.  I usually head off to eat lunch with Ron and some buddies, but yesterday I took a trip to the local Goodwill Thrift Store.  Here are some of my finds.  The first two reminded me of my Grandmother Cost.  For $3.00 I chose to bring home a little bit of Grandmother.

This is Emily's new cereal and soup bowl. She loves sipping out the milk with a straw; that is if I can get one to her before she has the bowl to her mouth!  I don't know who she has seen doing that. ????

My grandmother made all the grand kids blankets like these. Now Emily has one for cuddling up in front of the TV while watching the Peanuts Gang and It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

Here is my life size candy corn Halloween costume.  You are looking at the back of it. I think I should add a face to the back.  It was only $6.00.
This is a reminder that nothing is free!  I clicked on a link to learn Spanish for free.  Nope, it is costing me almost $60.00 and I can't return it. But rest assured that I did indeed cancel my (unknown) subscription!  Now if I will just put it in my computer and use the thing.
Love to you and thanks for checking in!
Brooke :)
